Overview
Defend digital systems by detecting threats, securing infrastructure, and responding calmly to cyber attacks.
Cyber security sits at the centre of every modern digital system. In this programme, you'll learn how to protect organizations from cyber threats by building skills in network security, encryption, risk assessment and incident response. You'll study how attackers approach systems so you can recognize weaknesses, reduce risk and respond effectively when something goes wrong.
As systems become more complex and more connected, the need for thoughtful security work keeps growing. This programme combines technical foundations with practical exercises, so you can apply what you learn to real scenarios. By the end, you'll be ready to help secure systems across different contexts—from small teams and startups to larger organizations and critical services.

Introductory Module
Core
In your first weeks, you'll join a bootcamp-style course with students from all programmes. You'll get to know Harbour.Space's hands-on way of learning, meet your peers, and get comfortable collaborating across different disciplines.
Major Core
Core
Once you've settled in, you'll move into the core modules of your programme. These courses are the heart of your studies: they help you think critically, solve complex problems, and build the technical and strategic skills you'll rely on in your field.
Capstone Project
Core
The Capstone Project is the culmination of the Cybersecurity program, where you address a real-world security challenge. Working individually or in teams, you will design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive cybersecurity solution, whether that involves developing secure systems, conducting penetration tests, performing forensic analysis, or assessing organizational risks. Your capstone emphasizes technical proficiency, critical thinking, and ethical responsibility.
Major Electives
Elective
As your foundation grows, you'll start choosing electives within your discipline. These modules let you go deeper into the areas that interest you most, from specific methods and tools to specialized application domains.
Collaborative & Cross-disciplinary Courses
Elective
Alongside your core and major electives, you'll take courses with students from other fields. Together you'll work on real-world challenges from different perspectives, stretching your thinking and strengthening your collaborative problem-solving skills.
Free Electives
Elective
Throughout the programme, you can also choose courses outside your main area. As long as you meet any requirements and there's space in the class, you're welcome to explore new topics, follow your curiosity, and broaden your toolkit.
